InsureReg
How I Support Clients
Focused senior support for insurers facing regulatory, actuarial, risk and governance challenges.
I work best where there is a defined issue, clear decision need, regulatory priority, implementation question or senior capacity gap.
The aim is to provide practical support that helps management understand the issue, assess options, make decisions and evidence progress.
Why InsureReg
Regulatory change creates practical questions for insurers: what matters, what applies, what decisions are needed, what evidence or action may be required, and what management or Boards need to understand.
InsureReg supports those questions through curated regulatory insight, focused advisory work and senior interim support where the need is clearly defined.
InsureReg is not a law firm, audit provider, assurance service, generic consultancy or regulatory-news feed.
- Curated regulatory insight for senior insurance stakeholders.
- Focused advisory support for clearly scoped client needs.
- Practical communication for management and Board-level discussion where appropriate.
Focused Advisory Projects
I support defined actuarial, risk and regulatory projects with clear objectives, outputs and client decisions.
These projects may include:
- regulatory readiness or implementation support
- governance and risk-management workstreams
- actuarial or prudential regulatory analysis
- Board or management reporting support
- evidence, gap and action-plan work
- defined implementation or remediation support
Projects are scoped around the client’s need, the intended outputs, the timetable and the decisions to be supported.
Senior Interim Support
I may provide senior interim support where the mandate is urgent, strategic or clearly defined.
This may be relevant where an insurer needs experienced actuarial, risk or regulatory support for a defined period, a specific regulatory priority, a management transition, implementation pressure or a senior capacity gap.
Interim support should be outcome-focused and appropriately scoped. It is not intended as junior support, routine BAU resourcing, open-ended staff augmentation or outsourced production work.
AI advisory
I help insurance leaders understand where AI is being used, assess worthwhile opportunities and clarify the decisions and oversight required. Support can include an executive briefing, a focused opportunity and readiness assessment, or governance and decision support. My insurance, actuarial, risk and regulatory perspective is complemented by an AI advisory partnership covering strategy, use case development, adoption planning and commercial value. The work is scoped around the client’s need.
When I'm a good fit
I'm most relevant where the client need involves senior judgement, regulatory focus, actuarial or risk expertise, and a clear business or management decision.
A material regulatory change needs to be understood and translated into practical action.
Management needs a clear view of gaps, dependencies, decisions or implementation priorities.
A Board, Risk Committee or executive audience needs a structured and practical explanation.
Internal teams need senior challenge, clarity or additional capacity on a defined issue.
A regulatory, actuarial or risk workstream needs experienced senior support for a defined period.
How engagements usually begin
A typical client journey is:
- 1Initial scoping discussion
- 2Agreed engagement scope
- 3Written Engagement Agreement before work begins
- 4Delivery of agreed outputs
- 5Client decision point
- 6Separately scoped follow-on work, if requested
Follow-on support is not assumed and is not automatic.
No advisory engagement is created by using the website, subscribing to updates or submitting an enquiry. Any advisory work is subject to a separate written Engagement Agreement.
Important engagement boundaries
InsureReg advisory support does not constitute legal advice, audit, assurance, certification, regulatory approval, regulatory clearance or a compliance guarantee.
Engagements are scoped in writing before advisory work begins. The scope, outputs, timetable, responsibilities and commercial terms are agreed through a separate written Engagement Agreement.
I don't publish pricing, day rates or standard packages on the website.
